Bowman gained fame for his ability to shoot coins out of the air and for his lethal accuracy in gunfights. He was known for his fearlessness and determination in pursuing outlaws, and he was involved in several high-profile shootouts during his career.
In addition to his law enforcement career, Bowman also worked as a rodeo performer and trick shooter, entertaining audiences with his expert gun handling.
